Privacy & Data Rights
CentraSolve respects the privacy of practitioners, institutional clients, and individuals whose information is processed through our modules (M1 infrastructure questionnaires, M2 bankability projects, M3 corporate restructuring, M4 business rescue, M5 strategic futures).
Frameworks we align with
Our architectural posture is designed to satisfy the data-protection requirements of:
- POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act, South Africa) — applies in full to M4 Business Rescue and to all data subjects in South Africa
- GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, EU/UK) — applies to data subjects in the EU/UK
- LGPD (Brazil), PIPEDA (Canada), PDPA (Singapore), CCPA/CPRA (California) — compatible posture
Your rights as a data subject
- Right of access — download all data we hold about you, via the data export page
- Right of erasure — request deletion of your account and associated personal information, via the account deletion page
- Right of correction — edit your profile information at any time
- Right to lodge a complaint — with the South African Information Regulator (POPIA) or your jurisdiction's supervisory authority (GDPR / others)
What we collect, and why
We collect the information you provide when you create an account (name, email), and the information you submit through CentraSolve's modules (project, case, and engagement records; uploaded documents). Sensitive personal information (identity numbers, financial details, addresses) is encrypted at rest.
Retention
Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account, plus a brief grace period after deletion. Some records (M4 business rescue case data, financial audit-relevant records) may be retained longer where required by law.
